DAS Event 208A Description

The DAS Event 208A offers an advanced 3-way design in a compact line array format, making it ideal for medium to large-scale live sound applications where clarity, power, and flexibility are essential. Its dual 10MI4 woofers operate in a “dual-band” configuration for extended frequency response, while a purpose-designed aluminum waveguide and M-75 compression driver ensure crisp, even high-frequency coverage. Driven by a 3-channel Class D amplifier, the Event 208A delivers 180W continuous (360W peak) to each section—low, mid, and high—for balanced, distortion-free output. The rear panel includes status LEDs and DAS’s Easy-DSP™ control interface, allowing users to select presets optimized for the number of cabinets in use and desired throw distance. Constructed from durable birch plywood with ISO-flex coating and an integrated captive rigging system, the Event 208A is easy to deploy in both flown and stacked configurations. Designed to pair seamlessly with other DAS Event series components, it’s a reliable choice for touring systems, houses of worship, corporate AV, and more.
